Connected sensor system for an agri-tech company
Field sensors, embedded firmware, and a monitoring dashboard that give growers a live picture of soil and climate conditions across their land.

The client had a working sensor prototype on a lab bench. Turning it into a product meant firmware that could run for months on limited power, send data over unreliable rural connectivity, and be updated without a site visit.
Growers also needed to make sense of the readings. Raw numbers from dozens of sensors were not useful on their own.
02
We treated the device, the connectivity, and the dashboard as one system from day one. Early prototypes were tested in real field conditions, which exposed power and signal problems long before the design was locked.
Firmware and cloud teams worked from a shared data contract, so each side could progress without waiting on the other.
03
The firmware samples efficiently, stores readings locally when the connection drops, and syncs when it returns. Devices support secure over-the-air updates with automatic rollback if an update fails.
The web dashboard turns readings into maps, trends, and alerts, so a grower can see at a glance which fields need attention.

Devices keep recording through connectivity gaps without losing data
Firmware can be updated remotely across the whole deployment
Growers get alerts and trends instead of raw sensor readings
